You'll dip in and out of old town eateries, bakeries and markets sampling Neapolitan delights in edible and edifice formats.
After a drive from Sorrento in the shadow of Mt Vesuvius, you'll arrive in the charming historic center of Naples.
The first stop is Mergellina, a breezy seaside district where you'll pause for a proper Neapolitan coffee and a warm sfogliatella - a crisp, shell-shaped pastry filled with ricotta that locals love.
We'll then stroll past the Royal Palace, the church of San Francesco di Paola in Piazza del Plebiscito and towards the lavish Galleria Umberto I as well as Europe's oldest opera house.
Our destination is the loud and proud Pignasecca street market and the narrow Spaccanapoli - the 2km-long alley that bisect the old town.
